Site Survey & System Specification

We assess load requirements, chemical exposure, hygiene grades and compliance needs before specifying a system.

Shot Blasting or Diamond Grinding

Industrial substrates typically require shot blasting to achieve the high CSP required for heavy-duty systems.

Structural Concrete Repair

Cracks, spalling, joint deterioration and structural defects are repaired to substrate quality before any coating.

Moisture & pH Testing

Sub-slab moisture and surface pH are tested and documented. Elevated moisture requires a DPM primer.

System Application

The specified system is applied at the correct dry film thickness (DFT) — primer, build coats, topcoat in correct sequence.

QA Testing & Documentation

Pull-off adhesion tests, DFT measurement and a defect inspection are completed. All certificates are issued at handover.

Food facilities require seamless, coved, anti-microbial systems rated for daily wash-down with hot water and aggressive chemicals. We specify solvent-free polyurethane or heavy-build epoxy systems with HACCP compliance documentation.

Can you coat floors in an operating facility?

Yes. We plan staged installations to keep your facility partially operational. Fast-cure polyaspartic systems can return to service in as little as 4–6 hours.

What is the minimum DFT for industrial applications?

Light industrial environments typically specify 1–2mm. Food processing and chemical areas require 2–4mm. Heavy screed systems can be 6mm or more. We specify the correct DFT for your application.

Do you provide AS/NZS compliance documentation?

Yes. For ESD, food-grade and other regulated environments we provide product data sheets, system specifications and test certificates demonstrating compliance with applicable Australian standards.

Can your systems handle forklift traffic?

Yes. Our industrial systems are tested for forklift axle loads, pneumatic and solid tyres, and point loading from storage racking. System selection is based on your specific traffic and load requirements.

How do you handle coved skirtings for food-grade facilities?

We form coved skirtings using epoxy mortar — creating a radiused joint between floor and wall that eliminates the 90° corner where liquids pool and bacteria accumulate. This is a requirement for HACCP and food-safety compliance.
