Why Choose Us

Benefits of Our Garage Floor Epoxy

Oil & Chemical Resistant

Spills from engine oil, brake fluid and chemicals wipe up instantly — the sealed surface never absorbs stains.

Rated for Vehicle Loads

Our garage systems handle passenger vehicles, SUVs, motorbike jacks and heavy storage racking loads.

Incredibly Easy to Clean

Sweep or mop in minutes. Dirt and dust don't cling to the smooth sealed surface.

Non-Slip Surface

Non-slip aggregate is standard in every garage system — safe underfoot even when wet or dusty.

Showroom Appearance

Transform a rough grey slab into a clean, professional-looking floor the whole family will enjoy.

Fast Turnaround

Most single garages are completed in one day. Double and triple garages typically take two days.

How It Works

Our Garage Floor Epoxy Process

Every job follows the same meticulous process — from free quote to final inspection — so you know exactly what to expect.

Free Quote & Floor Inspection

We inspect the slab for moisture, existing coatings, contamination and cracks — then provide a detailed written quote.

Diamond Grinding

We mechanically grind the entire surface, removing existing sealers, stains and contamination while opening the pores.

Crack & Expansion Joint Repair

Structural cracks are chased and filled. Expansion joints are treated with flexible compound to allow movement.

Epoxy Base Coat

A heavy-build base coat is roller-applied, forming the structural foundation of the system.

Decorative Layer

Your chosen finish is applied — solid colour, vinyl flake broadcast or metallic pigment.

UV-Stable Polyaspartic Topcoat

A clear polyaspartic or polyurethane topcoat seals the floor for long-term durability and UV resistance.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions — Garage Floor Epoxy

How long before I can park my car on the new floor?

We recommend keeping vehicles off for 5–7 days to allow the polyaspartic topcoat to fully cure. Light foot traffic is safe after 24 hours. Parking too early can leave tyre marks in the coating.

Will tyre marks appear on my garage epoxy floor?

Modern polyaspartic topcoats are highly resistant to "hot tyre pick-up." We use polyaspartic or polyurethane topcoats — not cheaper epoxy-only finishes that are prone to tyre marking.

My slab has oil stains — can it still be coated?

Yes. Oil contamination must be removed first using degreasers and mechanical grinding to expose clean concrete. Heavy oil penetration may require additional preparation passes.

What is the difference between a flake system and a solid colour?

Solid colour gives a clean, minimalist look. A flake (vinyl chip) system adds texture, conceals surface imperfections and provides better natural slip resistance. Flake is our most popular garage finish.

Can you coat a garage with an uneven or cracked floor?

Yes. Minor variation is handled by the coating system. For floors with significant level changes, we may recommend a levelling compound applied prior to the epoxy. Cracks are repaired before coating begins.

How thick is the epoxy coating?

Our garage systems are typically 1–2mm total film thickness across multiple coats — significantly thicker than DIY kits, which often measure less than 0.5mm and peel within months.
