How long before I can park my car on the new floor?

We recommend keeping vehicles off for 5–7 days to allow the polyaspartic topcoat to fully cure. Light foot traffic is safe after 24 hours. Parking too early can leave tyre marks in the coating.

Will tyre marks appear on my garage epoxy floor?

Modern polyaspartic topcoats are highly resistant to "hot tyre pick-up." We use polyaspartic or polyurethane topcoats — not cheaper epoxy-only finishes that are prone to tyre marking.

My slab has oil stains — can it still be coated?

Yes. Oil contamination must be removed first using degreasers and mechanical grinding to expose clean concrete. Heavy oil penetration may require additional preparation passes.

What is the difference between a flake system and a solid colour?

Solid colour gives a clean, minimalist look. A flake (vinyl chip) system adds texture, conceals surface imperfections and provides better natural slip resistance. Flake is our most popular garage finish.

Can you coat a garage with an uneven or cracked floor?

Yes. Minor variation is handled by the coating system. For floors with significant level changes, we may recommend a levelling compound applied prior to the epoxy. Cracks are repaired before coating begins.

How thick is the epoxy coating?

Our garage systems are typically 1–2mm total film thickness across multiple coats — significantly thicker than DIY kits, which often measure less than 0.5mm and peel within months.
