Yes. We regularly repair floors installed by others — including failed DIY jobs and poorly specified commercial systems. We diagnose the failure, prepare correctly and apply the right repair system.

Why did my epoxy floor delaminate?

The most common causes are: insufficient surface preparation, contamination (oil, dust, curing compound), moisture vapour pressure from below the slab, wrong primer for the substrate, or a coating applied too thin. We identify the exact cause before recommending any repair.

Is it worth repairing or should I just replace the whole floor?

If less than 20–30% of the floor is affected and the rest is sound, targeted repair is usually cost-effective. If the failure is systemic — wrong primer, pervasive moisture — full resurfacing is the better long-term solution. We give honest advice with no pressure.

How do I know if my floor is delaminating?

Tap the floor with your knuckles or a coin. A hollow, drum-like sound indicates the coating has separated from the substrate. Visible bubbles, lifting edges, cracking within the coating layer, or gritty residue underfoot are also signs.

Can you match the colour of my existing floor?

We can match most solid colours very closely. For flake or metallic systems, an exact match is difficult as every floor is unique. We discuss finish options openly before proceeding.

My garage epoxy from a DIY kit is peeling — can it be fixed?

Yes — this is one of our most common repair jobs. DIY epoxy kits are notoriously prone to delamination due to thin films and inadequate surface preparation. We strip the failing coating and apply a professional-grade system over the properly prepared substrate.
