Is metallic epoxy suitable for outdoor areas?

Metallic epoxy is primarily an indoor product. For covered alfresco areas we recommend a UV-stable topcoat system designed for external exposure. Discuss your requirements at the quote stage.

How do I maintain a metallic epoxy floor?

Sweep regularly and mop with a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. The polyaspartic topcoat is self-sealing — no waxing or polishing needed. The floor retains its gloss for years with proper care.

Can metallic epoxy be repaired if damaged?

Minor topcoat scratches can often be buffed out. Deeper damage that reaches the metallic layer requires a section repair — which, due to the organic design, may not be invisible. We discuss this openly during our consultation.

How long does a metallic epoxy installation take?

Allow 2–3 days for most residential jobs. Day 1: preparation and primer. Day 2: metallic coat and design development. Day 3: topcoat and final inspection. The floor is walk-ready 24 hours after the final coat.
